Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This policy explains what data PriceFeed (pricefeed.online) collects and how we use it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Service.
1. Data we collect
- API request logs — IP address, endpoint, query parameters, status code, response time and user-agent, used for rate limiting, abuse prevention and operational monitoring.
- Account data — if you sign in, your name, email address and avatar. With Google sign-in this comes from your Google profile; we never receive your Google password.
- API keys — stored as a hash; the plaintext key is shown once and never stored.
- Analytics — aggregate usage via Google Analytics (Google may set cookies).
2. How we use it
To operate, secure, and improve the Service: enforcing rate limits, preventing abuse, authenticating accounts, and understanding aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Third-party services
We use Google OAuth (sign-in) and Google Analytics (usage statistics). Their handling of data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy. Exchange rates are fetched from third-party data providers; those requests originate from our servers, not from your browser.
4. Retention
Operational logs are retained for a limited period (API request logs up to 30 days) and then deleted automatically. Account data is kept while your account exists.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie for authentication and Google Analytics cookies for usage statistics. You can block cookies in your browser; the public API works without them.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
